CRAZY PANTS CALLS IT QUITS !

 Insane Clown Michelle Bachmann finally gave up the holy ghost today after a humiliating defeat in the Iowa Caucus. Bachmann finished in sixth place, five percentage points ahead of  John Huntsman and  a full thirty percentage points behind a 600 pound butter cow sculpture,which came in fifth.

Bachmann evidently could read the writing on the wall; she’s giving up. It’s the right decision, which is why I’m so shocked she made it. 

"The people of Iowa spoke with a very clear voice, so I decided to stand aside," Bachmann said at an emotional news conference, flanked by her family, hours after the caucus results were announced. "I have no regrets, none whatsoever. We never compromised our principles...I think."  

After which , she began sobbing and screamed into the microphone 

" I from Iowa ! Why you no pick me !!"

Later, in a written statement to the press ( read by Herman Cain's divorce attorney) Bachmann stated she would not be running for re-election in Minnesota. She would instead be taking time off to finish her 1/35th scale diorama of the Berlin Wall before launching into  a lobbying campaign to be appointed Ambassador to Iran.
